Overberginfo.com furiously designing Joomla sites
The people of the Overberg - the region on the southernmost tip of Africa - are getting their websites to really work for them. Local design company overberginfo.com can't get them out fast enough. "Joomla has opened a whole new world for our clients" says Client Services manager Judy MacFarlaine. "Designing sites in Joomla makes it much easier for websites to really work for business owners. Being able to maintain, update and add content themselves makes their websites far more alive and interactive, and, the budget they would have spent on updates and additions can now be put into Marketing their sites."

Continuous additions to content and active marketing is just what is takes for a website to work. But - don't forget the structure and design! overberginfo.com prides itself in producing Joomla sites that are customised to meet the needs of individual clients and are easy for visitors to use. A lot of thought and time goes into the architecture of the sites designed by overberginfo.com.

Designer Vanessa Alberts says: "We have always focussed on the usability of a website - even BJ (before Joomla!). A site with a solid, logical structure is vital. If a visitor gets lost or frustrated losing them is as quick as a click. The design is equally important. Visitors are after all entering a virtual 'Store' environment that should reflect the vibe and ethos of a company. You want them to feel comfortable, have a good look around and buy or book before they leave."

Below is a list of some of the Joomla! sites (and the odd Mambo) that have been designed by overberginfo.com. In keeping with their philosophy of designing a site that can be accessed and enjoyed by a first time user on a Pentium I with a 56k line, the sites have been designed for IE in the main.

Don't forget to visit their own very informative site www.overberginfo.com that was built in Mambo and they hope to have the time to port to Joomla! soon.
